Picnote Privacy Policy
1. Summary
Picnote is a local-first screenshot knowledge base app. Our core principle: Picnote does not access your photo library. Only screenshots you explicitly share with Picnote are processed by the app.
Picnote saves shared screenshots to your device, and when AI analysis is needed, temporarily transmits them over an encrypted connection to our cloud proxy service for OCR, categorization, tagging, and value description generation.
2. What Data We Process
2.1 Screenshots You Share
When you share a screenshot with Picnote via the iOS system share sheet, Picnote processes: the original image file, text extracted from the image, AI-generated categories, tags, value descriptions and related content, and local metadata such as creation time, import time, and processing status.
2.2 AI Analysis Requests
To perform OCR and content understanding, Picnote temporarily sends your shared images over HTTPS to the developer's proxy service hosted on Alibaba Cloud Function Compute. The proxy calls the Qwen Vision model to perform analysis and returns structured results to Picnote.
Our proxy service does not persistently store your original images. After AI analysis is complete, image data is not retained as user data in the proxy. Third-party model service handling of request data is governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies.
2.3 Device-Level Quota Identifier
To provide free and subscription quotas, Picnote sends Apple's Identifier for Vendor (IDFV) with AI analysis requests. IDFV is used solely to distinguish device-level AI analysis quotas, prevent free quota abuse, and track usage count within the current quota period.
Picnote does not use IDFV for advertising, profiling, content recommendations, cross-app tracking, or cross-site tracking.
2.4 Subscription Status
If you purchase a subscription, payments and subscription management are handled by Apple App Store. Picnote only reads your subscription tier and status to unlock the corresponding AI analysis quota. Picnote does not access bank cards, Apple Pay credentials, or payment account passwords.
3. What We Do Not Collect
- Other photos or videos in your photo library
- Apple ID, bank cards, or payment credentials
- Name, phone number, or contacts
- Precise location, health, or financial information
- Advertising Identifier (IDFA)
- Cross-app or cross-site tracking data

5. Data Storage
Images and analysis results are stored locally on your device inside Picnote's app sandbox, protected by iOS. Whether data enters iCloud device backup depends on your iOS settings. Backup export files are created manually by you; Picnote does not automatically upload backup files.
6. Data Sharing
Picnote only processes or transmits data to the extent necessary to provide app functionality: Alibaba Cloud Function Compute (AI proxy), Qwen Vision model (OCR and content understanding), and Apple App Store (subscription management).
Picnote does not sell your personal data, use your screenshots for advertising, or share your data with data brokers.
7. Data Security
Communication between Picnote and our cloud proxy uses HTTPS encryption. We make reasonable efforts to protect your data during transmission and processing, but no network service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Within Picnote you can delete individual records, delete all records, export Markdown, export a Picnote backup archive, or restore from a backup. To erase all Picnote data from your device, uninstall the app. Subscriptions must be cancelled separately in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
9. Children's Privacy
Picnote is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Cross-Border Transfers
Picnote's AI proxy service is currently hosted in mainland China (Alibaba Cloud). If you use Picnote outside mainland China, screenshots you share may be transmitted to mainland China servers during AI analysis.
11. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy as features, laws, or services change. Material changes will be communicated in-app or on this page, and the "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly.

Picnote 鞠秘政策
1. 简要说明
Picnote 是一款本地优先的摆图知识库 App。我们的核心原则是：Picnote 不读取你的相册；只有你主动分享给 Picnote 的摆图才会进入 App。
Picnote 会把你主动分享的摆图保存到设备本地，并在需要 AI 解析时，通过加密连接临时发送到我们的冲端代理服务完成 OCR、分类、标签和价值描述生成。
2. 我们处理哪些数据
2.1 你主动分享的摆图
当你通过 iOS 系统分享面板把摆图分享给 Picnote 时，Picnote 会处理原始图片文件、图片中的文字内容、AI 生成的分类、标签、价值描述和关联信息，以及图片创建时间、导入时间、处理状态等本地元数据。
2.2 AI 解析请求
为了完成 OCR 和内容理解，Picnote 会把你主动分享的图片通过 HTTPS 临时发送到开发者部置在阿里云函数计算上的代理服务。代理服务会调用通义千问视觉模型完成解析，并把结构化结果返回给 Picnote。
我们的代理服务不会持久化保存你的原始图片。AI 解析完成后，图片字节不会作为用户资料保留在代理服务中。第三方模型服务对请求数据的处理受其服务条款和隐秘规则约束。
2.3 设备级配额标识
为了提供免费额度和订阅额度，Picnote 会在 AI 解析请求中发送 Apple 提供的 Identifier for Vendor（IDFV）。IDFV 仅用于区分设备级 AI 解析额度、防止免费额度被淚用、记录当前额度周期的使用次数。
Picnote 不会把 IDFV 用于广告、画像、内容推荐、跨 App 追踪或跨网站追踪。
2.4 订阅状态
如果你购买订阅，订阅和付款由 Apple App Store 处理。Picnote 只读取订阅档位和订阅状态，用于解锁对应的 AI 解析额度。Picnote 不接译银行卡、Apple Pay 丽证或支付账号密码。
3. 我们不收集哪些数据
- 相册中的其他图片或视频
- Apple ID、银行卡、支付丽证
- 姓名、电话号码、通讯录
- 精确位置、健康、账务信息
- 广告标识符 IDFA
- 跨 App 或跨网站追踪数据

5. 数据存储
原图和解析结果默认保存在你的设备本地。本地数据位于 Picnote 的 App 沙箱中，受 iOS 系统保护。是否进入 iCloud 设备备份由你的 iOS 系统设置决定。备份导出文件由你主动创建和保存，Picnote 不会自动上传备份文件。
6. 数据共享
Picnote 只在完成 App 功能所必需的范围内处理或传输数据：阿里云函数计算用于 AI 代理服务入口，通义千问视觉模型用于 OCR 和内容理解，Apple App Store 用于订阅购买、续订、取消和恢复购买。
Picnote 不出售你的个人数据，不把你的摆图用于广告投放，不把你的数据分享给数据经纪商。
7. 数据安全
Picnote 与冲端代理服务之间使用 HTTPS 加密传输。我们会尽合理努力保护传输和处理过程中的数据安全，但任何网络服务都无法保证绝对安全。
8. 你的权利
你可以在 Picnote 中删除单条摆图记录、批量删除摆图、导出 Markdown、导出 Picnote 备份包，或从备份包恢复数据。如果你想清除设备上的全部 Picnote 数据，可以删除 App。订阅需要在 iOS【设置 - Apple ID - 订阅】中单独取消。
9. 児童隐秘
Picnote 不专门面向児童。我们不会有意识地收集 13 岁以下児童的个人信息。
10. 跨境传输
Picnote 当前的 AI 代理服务部置在中国大陆阿里云区域。如果你在中国大陆境外使用 Picnote，你主动分享的图片可能会在 AI 解析过程中传输至中国大陆服务器。
11. 抽策更新
我们可能会因功能、法御或服务变化更新本隐秘政策。重大变更会在 App 内或发布页面中提示，并更新本页的【最后更新日期】。
